My wife has never called me by my name. initially she called me "lovey dovey" then slowly it got deformed to "Lovey" or some times "Dovey" amd then it got corrupted to "Dubby". So now the name "Dubby" sticks. She always calls me "Dubby"
My wife's name is Prema and "T' is the first lettter of my surname so I call her "Prema T" I call her. i started calling her "Prema T' because many years back there were two twins actresses who were twins and their names were "Jayshree T" and "Prema T". So my wife became "Prema T"
What do you call yor husband/wife and why do yo call them by that name?

ha ha ha i can imagine. It is the reverse here. My wife does nt like to give kisses and I have to take it forcibly so i call her "resister" at times. I like a long deep kiss and she gets breathless and tries to break free.

For the most part I call my husband by his name and he calls me by mine. Sometimes I call him "hubby" short for husband and sometimes he calls me "honey". But we don't really have any unusual nicknames for each other...maybe in the years to come.

Well, I always call my husband babe, and he always calls me baby. It's out of habit now. I don't even really call him by his first name anymore.

My hubby and I always call each other baby in fact the only time we ever call each other by our first name is when were on the phone talking to someone about each other I believe I would find it wired if he called me by my frist name because we havent done that in years .
when the kids were younger we would refer to each other as moomy and daddy but after they learned it we went back to calling each other baby

Me and my husband call each other by our first names. We do not have nicknames for each other although I see nothing wrong with it. But one of my pet peeves is couples that refer to each other as "my old man" or "my old lady". I think that sounds so disrespectful to each other.

Old lady and old man really seems awful. some people introduce their wife as "My children's mother" it is so irritating. What if hwere to turn aroudnand say "Don' be so sure."

I call my husband "hon" or "honey". If I call him by his first name, he automatucally thinks I am mad at him, and he just prefers me to call him "hon" or "honey". He calls me "baby" or "sweetheart". I think he has only called me by my name a few times, and once was the day we got married.
I am not sure why we like this, we just are. it works for us, so I guess it is okay.

Before we got married, I used to call him "sweetheart". Then, after we got child. We call each other "PAPA" or MAMA" so our son learn to call us by that name too.
Thanks.

Yes Papa and Mama are normal when children start growing up and start talking. We too switched over to that as my younger daughter had calling my wife "Prema T" after hearing me. For a few years Mama and Papa are normal.

since our gf-bf days which was 10 years ago, we've been calling each other as "LABS"... but due to all our ups and downs in marriage and because i want to start anew with our lives, i told him to change it to "OSITO and OSITA" since i do love teddy bears.

I sometimes call my husband J Ferdy. You have to roll it fast and kind of whirl the r. The story goes like this. A lady called the dealership asking for the J 30...it is an infinity. it sounded like my husbands first and last name (which I wont reveal, he's very private) so the call was passed to him. the woman had a very strong accent and she kept saying "I want J ferdy (J30)" and he kept saying this is him. After a few times going back and forth she says, "You talking car?" but it was high pitched and sounded like this...Aaw, Uuuu tokkeen caaaaa?
so, anyway...it was hilarious when he finally figured it out and so I holla that at him out the door....J Ferdy!
Another name that has stuck with him and his daughter's call him is fabio because he has big nipples just like fabio. It's funny when daughter's don't call him daddy they call him fabio.

well.. we also do not have special names for each other..when we were still going steady we call each other "bie" for baby hehehe..but now we got over that and i call him "di" for daddy..and he calls me "mi" for mommy...well it started when our daughter was starting to learn how to speak and we want to teach her to call us daddy or mommy..and the first idea was that if we call each other that and she will follow...nd the rest is history..we got used to it and that is how we call each other:))
