Slept at work or class?

Here is a interesting discussion for you all....... Sometimes sleep can take over your senses... no matter how hard you try to be awake but you can not stop your sleep irrespective of where you are.... Have you ever experienced such situation and slept in any public place, slept while doing office work, slept in your classroom...... i know most of the people must have experienced this situation so share your funny experiences here.....

I think I have a problem with sleep, it really makes me angry. I get extremely sleepy at the most inopportune times. Ie. I went on a rotation in the hospital and was falling asleep while shadowing the doctor. This is also what I believe i was made to do. I love medicine and have been doing rotations and things of this nature for years, but random sleep attacks just me feel embarrassed and immature.

This morning I was reading a book at the gym while waiting for my child to finish off his sport session. I began dozing off and my book almost fall off my hands. I could notice some weird looks on the people's faces that were around me. © ronaldinu 2008

I've gotten into that zone a couple of times at work where I could very easily doze off if I let myself. Getting up and walking around usually helps but you can't do that if you're in class.

i do experienced that in my classroom. i was so embarrassed. i just can't help myself t sleep because i had a training before my class. i'm so tired and my body felt so weak.

as much i as could, i try not to sleep in class or at work because i think it is very unethical and disturbing to other persons especially to my profession or my superior, whichever the case may be. as far as i can remember, there was a time that i slept in class but not during a discussion. i think our professor allowed to do anything we want just like a homeroom subject. lol! anyway, at work, i also did sleep but not at my desk but in the office's clinic. i was sick that time and was allowed by our office nurse to take a rest. well, it's such a funny thing when you see someone in class sleeping. but at work, i don't think so.

yes, i have fallen asleep in class before. i was really sleepy that day and we were watching a video.....well they were watching the video. it's so hard for me to stay awake in class when you stayed up the night before doing all the studying and homework they give you.

I've never actually have fallen asleep at school or work. I have been very tired, but I'm one of those people who can handle it.
