whats this happening......

my rating was 70......a minute ago & now it just reduced suddenly.....how is this possible what is happening.....

If mylot sees a duplicate posted question and removes it...if it was one you answered, you lose the count from your number. Chances are, two discussions you responded to were deleted. When they instituted the new guidelines, I lost quite a few. I now try very hard not to answer any question that I know has been asked before...otherwise, I know it might get deleted. BTW, all this information is stated in the new guidelines. If you didn't see them, the link is at the bottom of every page.

Yes they will delete your duplicates answers but that will only been apply when you answer them within the same discussions. If the same topics but it was a new discussions that you haven't respond to then it will still count.

Dellion, if they remove the question though, your answer also gets removed...answers can't be left behind if the question is gone. That is what I was trying to explain but maybe it didn't come across clearly. Duplicate questions also get deleted.

I read some discussions few days ago, they said mylot staff deleted the duplicate discussions and/or posts that broke the rules then reduced the points accordingly. That's what I heard, but I'm not sure.

I do experience that before and according to mylot replied they will deleted any responses that was like"ok,no,don't know,no idea....etc. Please check if you have that kind of response so far?
