Yesterday was my daughter's fourth birthday and we held a party for her. She invited 4 friends of hers of course with their families. We had dinner in our house with a hot pot, drank a little beer. My daughter received many birthday gifts from relatives and friends and enjoyed them with her friends. My wife made a wonderfull cake but only we grown-ups enjoyed it so much. I didn't know if she made her wish before blowed the 4 candles may be she still didn't know what wish meant. When she went to bed with her favorite gift: a music box shaped like a merry-go-round, she looked like so exited to fall asleep. I love my family so much. Would you mylotters have such a wonderfull time to share with us?

Hello Tonycn! It seems that you had a blessing there. It is so refreshing that you could have a good time, no drama, and your precious little princess had a wonderful day too. She might not know what a wish is, but I am pretty sure the wish came true anyhow. Families are precious!
My dad was ill on fathers day and we had a late celebration. His boss and family, some other families and friends came out and we had a good day. We danced, laughed and partied like there was no tomorrow. He's the greatest dad ever, and I think he deserved that party! There was nothing but fun and great conversation and all 16 grandkids were there. That hardly ever happens. IT was a good day!

This sounds like such a perfect day for your daughter as well as everyone invited to the party. My children are 19, 16, 14 and 8 and I still throw them birthday parties like this. This Saturday we are having my soon to be 20 and 17 yr olds birthday parties. Their birthdays are only one week apart,so they celebrate them together. We are having the whole family (24 of us) for a pot luck dinner. I always look forward to these events so I can celebrate with my children and my family.

I admire you so much that you have 4 kids. I have only one and I really like to have 2 or 3 kids but here is China. My parents and my brother are living in another city faraway from where I live. So we can only reunite once a year. Anyway I really appreciate your response.

we really love our family and when they are in trouble we immediately rescue them for we dont want them to be hurt. even a mosquito bites our kids we will kill the mosquito just to satisfy that we are protecting our child.
By the way before i forgot i wanted to greet your kid a happy birthday and may the lord god give she more years to come with more parties.
