Many if not all politicians who have plans to run for the coming election have started becoming visible. Have you noticed how each one is trying to draw attention on them by riding on big issues? They'd smile at everyone they meet, they'd take opportunities to shake every one's hand! But just as many of them are coming out during election time.... they altogether will vanish after election. You could hardly see them...they can't even smile...you can't even shake hands with them. How easily they forget the people who elected them to their respectable posts. However, there are few good ones who remain friendly and approachable and they sincerely serve the people who voted for them.
What is your experience with politicians.... good or bad?

I used to come with a local politician in my town, it is the first time he run and he lose. Campaign period is really tiring and it is short too, that is why this politician resort to those kind of activity to increase their popularity. And yes they do vanish after the election, most of them are busy paying the people who funded their campaign, The best campaign I have seen was to Trillanes. I think it was the least budgeted senatorial race campaign and yet he won. Politicians should learn from him. ha ha ha

Ha!ha!ha! Calling all politicians! Do as Trillanes did in order to save! ha!ha!ha! You naughtty! But look what Trillanes has done so far? He is in prison and yet the people voted for this man who has seemed gone out of his senses. What a waste of vote!

All you have enumerated are exactly the truth. They are pretending to be good persons. Anyway, not all of them are like that. I have known only a few. Maybe those are there true colors.

Many are what we call "the great pretenders"! But of course there are few who are not. So we have to discern who are and who are not so that once we are already in the polling station .... we know whose names to write.

I haven't really been around politicians much, I know around here where I live, they are always campaigning, they will either have some kind of big dinner, or fish fry or something like that, to get people to come out and meet them, sometimes I go to them. I've never had a good or bad experience with anyone.

Oh that is also the strategy of local politicians here in my place. They always give free picnics for people, spending a lot of money for the food which of course the people who are fond of eating will truly enjoy. But not me!

you have touched a very true issue. Unfortunately, this kind of attitude is practiced almost everywhere. But the fact is, this is the real face of politics. Of course, there are some good gems out there, but they are rare.
I wouldn't be taking this too personal... it's a tug of war... they have to do their best to win over people votes.

Have seen, oh of course you already have, it has been on TV for long, how Manny Villar "help" OFW and he shoulder their airplane fare, crap! why do they have to make abig deal out of him shouldering the fare of few. what? he only shouldered 7 or 8? hello???? knock knock! with his wealth he can shoulder thousands. and then there's this infomercial from Loren. Ok I am really not against this politician, its just that it is too early and they are already wasting money for the election, and what more when the election is so near?
As for my experience with them, none yet and I would not want to have one, their hands are so dirty, no way I would shake those hands

Ha!ha!ha! You're funny, ha! Their hands are dirty! I'm reading between the lines. Indeed their hands are dirty! Ha!ha!ha! Yes, with the billions of money Villar has he really should help OFW's and in fact he should help even more than those few ones. And why only now that he is spending for them when he has long been a billionaire? And then even announcing to the whole world! Instead of spending millions on that commercial, he should had rather used the money to help even more OFW's!

hhahah this topic is very timely my friend. Presidential election in America is just 2 weeks away. People here are becoming crazy about the presidential candidates. You can even read some of the threads here. hahaha They are all talking about Barak Husain Obama.. can you imagine that? if he would win, the President of America is a relative of Sadam Husain? I just don't understand why people like him very much...
Yes, you are truly right about candidates who are visible when the election is coming and they all disappear and can not be reached after the election.. hahaha... FAKE.. and sure, there are others who are really sincere in serving the people. I just wish voters should think 10 times before they will cast their votes.
