When did you make a decision to earn money online?

I made the decision around Christmas of 2007. I had been downsized in salary a few months before, and I knew I didn't want to work another job elsewhere so I started my search.
I stumbled upon network marketing opportunities and eventually found my way to GPT sites, mylot and other online opportunities, that I'm involved with (see my profile if you'd like to know more).
Okay here are the rules for this discussion, please:
1. Do not post direct links to other opportunities, you're involved with.
2. If you are involved with an opportunity and you have it posted in your profile, then you can reference you profile for other seekers that may want to join you based on your response but again, no direct links.
3. refer to rule #1 if in doubt or just don't respond.
I think we should be considerate of others while we are making our posts and honor their topics and stay on topic as much as possible.

I first became self employed ten years ago, when I started my own business from home. Back then not many people had a computer of their own. As soon as I got one I paid someone to set up a site to promote my services. In a year or so I found that as much of my business came from the website as it did offline.
After five years, when more people had a computer, my services were less in demand, so I began to rely more on earning directly from the internet.
I wound up my business and took a year off. This year I decided to get back online and start earning money in different ways. I am building up my monthly income from various activities, and I have gained much valuable knowledge and experience. Next year and I expect to have a better income, as I continue to expand and explore new opportunities.

That's what I'm talking a about.
It seems that your income of stream of income has a mission.
That is key to expanding your present income opportunities.

I am raising two girls on my own since my divorce. I get no child support what soever and their dad has nothing to do with them so its all on me. I'm just trying to rake in a little extra money to help out.

Wow ~ I dislike the fact that the father is not in your daughters lives. ~ That is really a poor reflection on men in general.
I do hope you find the income stream that you need in order to provide the best for your daughters in whatever fashion you've grown accustom too.
Keep God first and as you seek him he'll definitely provide.

I started around May this year when I was looking for a job. I had just graduated from college and so I didn't have any source of income. I wasn't exactly in debt, in fact, I had savings to spend, but I felt like I was using it up too much with eating out and shopping. I joined myLot first then slowly took the advice of other mylotters on ways to earn money online. I'm very happy the decision I made back then I should have started last year!
