Good Music...Bad Music

I've felt this way for a long time now. It's frustrating to turn on the radio and not hear anything good, especially when they play the same thing over and over all day long. That's why I hardly listen to the radio anymore. If I do, it's usually a station that plays a lot of the older stuff that I enjoy. There haven't been many artists that have come along in the last few years that I really like.

I completely agree most of the songs in the mainstream pop charts do all sound the same...what with the girly groups like Girls aloud, the rap songs like snoop dog and the boybands or solo singers. When i'm out clubbing my mates have to educate me as to who sings each song because I really don't have a clue. I much prefer my punk and metal. There are so many bands out there now with contrasting sounds and vocals there's just something for everyone.
