Do you have an IPOD?

The reason why I ask is I'm planning to buy an IPOD Touch, it looks so cool and so versatile other than playing music you can also play videos, view maps and search the net. However I'm pretty confused with their generations, I have to read more about that or maybe you can explain what that means.
Do you have an IPOD? What can you say about it?

I can answer at least a couple of your questions: I do have an ipod but mine is an ipod shuffle like the one on the pic.
What I want from my ipod is to listen to music and a few positive affirmations.
I am happy with mine because well it does what I need it to do and it is practical for me, I might want an ipod nano for the future but I am doubtful about since it will have video and I like my ipod to go to work with, it will be a distraction for me.
I will not be able to help you with the rest, the ipod you put in here looks like an iphone.
I wish you good luck with the discussion

I'm also considering the ipod shuffle, coz its so small I can take it to work and listen to music. However do you know how many hours can it play? Thank you.

I am not sure how many hours but this is the info I could find for you
Imy ipod is 2 gb and can have 500 songs)
Up to 120 songs on the 512 MB model and up to 240 songs on the 1 GB model (based on 128 kbps AAC files at 4 minutes per song).
I love mine, I clip on my clothes or purse and go. The battery life is good and because it recharges it saves me money too.

I used to have one, but I lost it. Someone stole it in my house, my sister suspect it was the maid we hired and she has gone a year ago. I like my iPod and missed it so much. It was an iPod video, and forgot how big the space was because I lost it long time ago. I envy my partner, she got a classic iPod with 18Gb drive, she could save many songs in the iPod and we can choose any songs we wanted to listen in the car when having some trip.
I was thinking of having the nano iPod, because it is more affordable, but my partner said that it would only able to hold a little, so it would be better for me to save a little more to be able to buy the classic iPod, because it could substitute the external hard disk in times of emergency and I need to store some data.

My niece has an iPod touch and I get to borrow it from her sometimes. I really like it because it has a nice audio and very user-friendly. You can save a lot of photos, music and video. You can even surf the net if there is WiFi available. It's touch screen feature is really nice and fun. I think iPod touch has the same features with the iPhone, except of course for the phone features of the latter. We has an iPod mini and an iPod shuffle before but both are no longer working. I think the batteries are irreplaceable, I am not sure. I think you'll enjoy the iPod touch. Good luck!
