After getting involved in several scams and con artists (professional rip off salesman) selling me the world, but not delivering the expected output. I've basically sat back and investigated all opportunities that I decide to get involved in now.
If I've seen a longevity history of ethics and sincerity of a company that truly cares about it's users as much as they do about earning income ~ that's what motivates me.
There places I look are:
1. Better Business Bureau
2. Rip Off Reports
3. BeenPaid Website
You have been believe that I don't invest any money, unless I know for sure; I will get a return on my investment, either by way of goods and services used personally or by the opportunity that it presents. Which is the main reason I decided to join one of the most easiest networking marketing opportunities around today. See my profile for me details.
How about you, do you do research or are you gullible, share your story?
Thanks for responding in advance.

I usually use goggle and type in " website name is a scam" or " been paid by website name" or I just type in the name of the website and see what comes up and if I pull up any forums where people are talking about being ripped off or people praising a website then I take note . If I don't find anything bad about a website online then it must be a new website and nobody has been paid yet or been ripped off ( yet), those type of sites I usually wait until I hear more feedback from. This method has worked for me so far and I haven't been ripped off ( yet)..LOL.. The BBB I question because I have been told by many that they can be brought off if the price is right:( - But Been Paid and Ripp Off Report seems to be on the up & up .People have to be careful about listening to blogs sometimes because some people on blogs are just trying to promote their referral links and haven't been paid yet. I trust the blogs that take screen shots of their payments, but then I even doubt those sometimes..LOL

LOL! your comment about the blogs.
Yeah honestly, being a somewhat of a graphic artist myself, you'd be surprised at what I can create and make seem real and what doesn't seem real.
Computers have made it very easy for forgery and false payment proofs to be posted. That is why in my opinion, it is best to establish a working relationship with the people you are referred by, and knowing that were paid and willing to help you reach your minimum payout as quick as possible.

It is just right for all of us to research first before we venture into anything on the net. Whether you will spend money for it or not.
Most of the time, I always visit forums to check on related topics or if not, i search it on the net for info that may lead to the background of any site.
Let's just be careful in dealing online to avoid being scammed.

Using your brain is very intelligent way of being smart and not stupid.
I'm glad to see that you investigate before investing.
It's only the smart thing to do, unless the opportunity is completely free has been free forever since it started and plans of being free forever. Then the only thing you've wasted is your personal time.

i know the feeling of being scammed because it happened to me twice. There are a lot of fraudulent websites, spam email who would promise you an interesting income potential, they even post proof of payments but after few years, or even months, you will then realize they're close and took all your investments.

LoL, so true. That's why I'm only involved with legit things right now and continue to be very careful with viewing a new opportunity.
I may join something that is completely free just to see if it will pay the free members. After a while though I will determine if they are legit, if I reach payout and never see payment. LoL ~ The neat thing is I can run tests on them all day long. The moment that I see that the opportunity is always encouraging its free members to become paid members or else not get paid, well that right there is a real indicator that the opportunity didn't plan to pay its free members from get.
It's really the free members that drive businesses, though.
