Is "Fringe" the next "X-Files"?

Well I wouldn't say it's darker than the X Files but Fringe is funnier. I think it's a less intense sort of show and while the comparison in that the subject of their investigations is there I think that's where it stops because X Files was really all about Mulder and Scully and Mulder's search for his sister whereas Fringe just seems to be bobbing along without a real direction to it but I don't mind that, I'm enjoying it and the weird things they investigate and I really love Peter, I think Joshua Jackson is fantastic!!! I like that Olivia is still grieving over her partner, I think that's a gutsy move that the producers are taking as a lot of shows would have her happy and moving on and maybe flirting with Peter right now which would cheapen what she had with her partner so I'm glad she's getting over that and I hope in the future we DO get to see her flirt with Peter a little once she's a little bit past her grief. Everybody seems to love Walter because he's so nutty and out there and says funny things but I actually don't like him very much.

Fringe is pretty cool. Its like a more high-tech version of x-files. Whats not to like?

yeah, Fringe is great.
it's been quite some time that there's been a show on tv that i can't wait until next week for another episode. Fringe is one of those shows.
