Have you ever used a site like netflix or zip.ca or something similar to rent a movie - have it sent to you then mail it back?
What were your experiences? Do you like it?
I'm currently trying zip.ca and so far I'm liking their delivery time as of yet have to see how long a return takes.

I tried to a couple of times, but to no avail. They just wanted me to sign up for about 20 other things that had nothing to do with them or movies, so I just said "what ever" and just stopped trying. I have dish so I just watch my movies that way. I can watch the newest release too on ppv and for a lot cheaper AND not worry about retruning the movie.

I've actually decided to cancel my online zip.ca account because the shipping times have been extremely slow the last two months. Prior to christmas they were shipping within 4 days now it takes over a week for me to get a new movie. I'm sure its the mail system not the place itself.

Yes I have used both blockbuster.com and netflix.com. I don't use them anymore because it seems like buying the DVD's now days are cheaping then the price of renting movies. So now I just buy the DVD's that I wish to see. But when I did use them it was a very good and convinient service.

That is a very good question my friend, because there are so many commercials on television for places where you can rent movies online, and it seems one of the most popular places is Netflix,I have personally never used Netflix or any site where I have rented a movie offline, but I have kind of always wanted to try it because it seems pretty reliable, and it seems like a cheaper and easier way to rent a movie instead of having to go to a movie store, and I am glad to hear that you are tying zip.ca and that you are happy with it so far.

I like that they seem to all have a two week trial period so the first couple weeks I tried it have been free (next Wednesday is the end of the trail) and i like the no late fees.
I find that lately its been so windy here it knocks the satellite receiver out of whack and i cant watch tv anyways.

Hmm, I've never heard of zip.ca, but I am a member of netflix. I do like it. The only thing that I would change is the amount of time it takes for them to receive mine and send me one back. It is supposed to take around two days or so, but mine usually take about three, sometimes 4. I only get one movie at a time, because that is all I can afford but I think that it is completely worth it. You can choose from just about any movie that you want. They even have workout videos, lol.

I don't rent movies online. However, I'm really into watchmovies.net. It's free though. However, sometimes you have to put up with them not loading quickly and stuff, which is annoying. Maybe I should try netflix.

I never have, but my husband has. He had a netflix account for quite a while, but cancelled it, now that he's going to be moving to Canada in the very near future. I thought of signing on with blockbuster up here, but I really don't feel like having another bill to pay.
