Does a fiction movie make you learn anything ?

children often fight to watch movies and parents say no it will corrupt you.
but when children say it is a science fiction parents let them watch that movies.
do science fiction movies have something for children to learn from ?

yeah is some cases for example the movie CARS which came out in 2006, has alot of life lessons you can learn in the movie, i have been recently writing a report about the movie explaining the life lessons learnt

and you are saying movies have some morals but I was talking fiction movies in special when compared to other genre of movies.

Yes. Take Wall-E for example. It shows the effects of our waste generation on earth. There are few such good movies. Parents need to be choosy.

but does that mean parents must personally watch the movie before letting their children watch it ?
most of the today's movies however have negative impact only I think.
Still there are good movies I Know.

I think every movie makes you learn something. Whatever it be you will larn something, everytime we are learning things in the life.

I was talking about relative effect of fiction movies over all other categories of movies.
