What was you're first foreign film?

So what was every ones first foreign film? My first foreign film was Kinji Fukasaku's "Battle Royale". I read so much about this movie and had to find it. After watching BR I found out it was bassed of a novel written by Koushun Takami. IMOH the novel was so much better then the movie and wished things where not taken out of the book for the movie. Thanks to the late Mr. Fukasaku and Battle Royale, I was interduced to one of my all time favorit actors/director Takeshi Kitano. So thanks to Mr. Fukkasaku and Battle Royale, I found a new love in foreign films.
