I just got a new phone and my old ringtones couldn't be transferred to the new one. I don't want to spend a lot of money downloading ringtones but I would like to get some. Where do you get your ringtones? Do you get them from your cell phone company or do you get them online? How do you do your ringtones?

Phonezoo is a good place, but I had trouble the first time I used it. They just didn't send some of the tones, and the pictures always turn up weird for a background.

I like to use www.bongotones.com to make my own custom ringtones. It lets you upload your own music and pick your favorite part as the ringtone.

There were several ringtones loaded on my cell when I bought it. There's a wide variety to choose from so I am content with using those choices. Right now I have a frolic tune which is loud so I can hear it when I'm in a crowd. I haven't downloaded any tones from the internet since I have no idea how to do this. Don't have a program for my cell to the computer or computer to the cell.

My old phone had some good ring tones. The new one doesn't have very many. I guess they want you to spend more money LOL. Thank you for your response.

Hi there lilcee I just use the ringtones that were provided with my phone when I got it. I am not too bothered about the ringtone to be honest. I just want to be able to hear my phone ring and be able to answer it!!

I think my phone has that too. I haven't quite figured out all the features on it. I know it will play music tho. Can you download the music off of the computer and then use that as a ringtone if you have a usp cable? Thanks for your response.

There are two websites that let's you download ringtones for free. You do have to have data plan & mms plan for your phone. First one is called phonezoo & the second one is called myxer. Good luck.

Hi lilcee, Ring tones are available in India everywhere, you never need to pay for it and when ever you buy a new phone , the vendor would put 100s of ring tones for free in it if you want it. Also you can use blue tooth to transfer from the other cell phone or friends cell phone and otherwise what we would do is suppose i like a song so i would use software to cut the song tune for 15 to 30 second and then load it in cell phone and it would be used as a ring tone.
