First of all, voip to voip phone should be free on most voip providers. It is also known as PC to PC calls. It's like a Skype to Skype or Yahoo to Yahoo calls. Its always free.
Secondly, getting a voip phone won't render your cell phone useless. It's totally 2 different things. Voip calls are usually use for long distance or overseas calls while you use your mobile for sending SMS or make calls while on the move.
Third, if this is the 10,000 peso package you are talking about from another topic of yours then its not worth it. You can always buy a voip phone and set it up with the provider of your choice. Or you can buy an ATA device (Analog Telephone Adapter) and connect it to your regular home phone while its connected it to your DSL modem or router. I use this set up for my Onesuite voip account and it runs great. Long distance is cheap with my Onesuite.
Take note: To use a voip phone, you need a good internet connection.

I wanted to let everyone know about this service that I came across, you don't have to buy a separate voip phone to use the voip services. You have to download the application and installed on your phone and then you can use your cell phone as a voip phone. You can talk for free other users with the same application in their phones or computer for free. Details of which is available in my profile webpage.

I used to have voip through my cable and internet provider. Plus I also had Vonage for a couple of years. It's a great deal if you talk for very long and if you call a lot of people long distance.
Voip programs usually included unlimited long distance, whereas with a cell phone you usually only have a set amount of minutes to use in general.
Although with cell phones you do usually get to call other people who are with the same company without it charging you any minutes.
My problem is, everyone I know is long distance. And only have 300 minutes through my cell phone a month. So I usually just have other people call me back, now that I no longer have the VOIP. LOL
Hope you have a good day!

I have got the best option ever available for you. Now you can talk free to everyone around the world, any long number of hours for free. The Our Free Phone software makes it possible. All you will need is the application to be installed in your mobile phone or computer and ask the person you are calling also to do the same and then you talk for free for long hours. Check my profile webpage for details.

What if your voip phone starts giving you massive amount of income, and what if your cell phone itself converts itself into a voip phone. You start chatting with all your friends on different IMs from a single window on your cell phone. Then will it interest you... check details in my profile webpage.
