VI or not VI

what is your favorite text editor in linux? love VI for its robust functions. whats yours

VI rocks for me. As it is default editior not only on Linux distros but also with Unix like Solaris and FreeBSD.

Vi is powerful, and personally prefer GVim for normal editing and programming . However I find the advanced programmers use EMACS

i like Linux.....but, I never like VI, may be I am coming from Windows background. For me, NANO is the easiest replacement editor for linux terminal.
