People like this make me sick! My sons exgirlfriend mother is someone like this. I heard her tell her 16 yr old daughter to find a guy with money and get pregnant. This way he will have to pay for that child for the next 18 yrs!! I got my son away from that situation as fast as I could! I didn't have my kids for money. I earn my money and spend it all on the kids! What is wrong with this system?!

Yep I think it's true. Lots of people are born into this type of life and therefore are likely to repeat it. The really stupid thing is that this government refuses to stop making this lifestyle so easy to obtain!!!

I do not personally know anyone who has had kids for money (like public assistance and other types of welfare). From the standpoint of a mom, I could never imagine that happening. With that said, I believe that some people do. Like the first poster mentioned, there can be some sick and weird thinking people out there. Not everyone has the same morals and values, so I defiantly do see it happening. It bothers me to no end though. I also agree with the second poster who said that the process usually repeats itself. That is because if a child is born just for money, they aren’t likely to get the love and attention of a parent that most kids get and that is truly sad.

I haven't heard of that before. The only one I knew is in the family of farmers where they intend to have many children which will be helping them for the planting and reaping of crops. In that situation, I guess it is reasonable. It is better to have a family member do the job instead of having workers to do it.

Some people in this world are really sick in the head so I can't say I wouldn't believe if anyone were to do this. Maybe they meant something else by it though, that I am not sure of. I suppose you just have to look at the circumstances they were in before. If they still love and care for the child then although the way they said that or the fact that they did say that they got a lot of free food and etc, was wrong, atleast you have to look at it and see that they actually do care for the child.

Heck yeah they do. Look at that "octo-mom" woman. She's got 14 kids now all under the age of 7 I believe. AVERAGE benefits per child TAX FREE is about $900 a month. Granted this is TAX FREE income. So for her 14 kids, she's making $12,600 a month on her kids alone. Tax free income! She pays no taxes on making more money in one month than many people make all year and they have to work 40+ hours a week to get it. And that's not counting the fact that she's not paying for health insurance due to the government's Medicaid/Medicare program. She's also not paying for her house nor is she paying for food (food stamps) or utilities (utility assistance). No wonder so many on welfare drive around in $75,000 cars and wear $500 shoes and $6000 necklaces. It's sickening to see welfare wh0res like "Octo-mom" using their uterus to make them more dishonest taxpayer money.
