I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It's a good read, simple idea, but only practical if you aim to be a millionaire. It focuses on the importance of investment in safe but rewarding forms such as real estates. It is a refreshing alternative from the usual financial advise of saving and getting a good education for a well-paying job, etc. But hard to implement, especially if you don't have much on hand to start with. I suggest you read and keep in mind, but don't bank on it.

Guess it was first book written by Kiyosaki isn't it? It's a great book but quiet boring for me, but it do has a good point.
I suggest you to read the next book by him, the Cashflow Quadrant, it talk about the way people earn money in this world, it divided into two Quadrants, Right and Left Quadrant.
The left one is if you want a 'security', financial security, but the Right quadrant is for people that want a Financial freedom :)
What do you wanna be? call is yours :)

This is one of the best book I have ever read. Great comparison between the way rich people think (make money work for you) and poor people (work for money). Very smart read and actually changed the way I work. For those who have not read it, you owe it to yourself to do so today! Look at the other books in the series as well.

yes, the best part is when they explain the difference between an "asset" and a "liability", he explains it in simple terms. I read it long ago, and i am not rich, but i do know how to handle what little money i make.... yahoo!!!
