yup he is the young aggressive generation captian. He is also an exceptional Batsman and wicketkeeper makes him a great player. sachin tendulkar another great player cant give india a worldcup winner. but mahendra singh dhoni does it. his attitude towards his players and thrust also wins india.generally a wicket keeper knows the pitch conditions very well than another players in the field. this helps him to rotate his bowlers.he changed his style of batting since he become a captain. field placing are excellent by dhoni. he is also calm and quiet and interacts well with the fielders like mark taylor. rotates his spin bowlers well as azharuddin once doo. i think praveen kumar, ishant sharma, sreesanth and now amit mizra bowls well due to dhonis attitude towards bowlers.

Dhoni's confidence is infectitous and it rubs of on the whole team. I do believe that he will take India to no. 1 spot in both test as well as one-dayers. Its the way he has faith in his players and his cool attitude that makes him a captain apart.

Hi sivanj, Offcourse Dhoni is the captain of new generation. He is the only one who indian cricket is looking for. And definitely he will take India to the no.1 spot. Do u know that Dhoni has captained India in 2 Tests and has won both of them. Only two Indians have done that.They are Sachin and Ganguly. Sachin did not succeed and Ganguly became the most successful captain. So Dhoni has got all the qualities of becoming a captain of the no.1 side. He is very intelligent and contributes a lot to the team. And Australian newspapers have commented upon him as a more cunning captain than Ponting.
