Insect inside my ear

Yes, stuff like that can happen. I would be shaken up, too. It is probably gone but you still have that eerie feeling in your ear. The flushing of the ear should have taken care of it. Although it is strange that the doctor didn't show you what came out of the ear. Then you wouldn't feel so strange. If you want to make sure, have somebody take a flashlight, pull the ear straight and shine the light inside. You can look quite far inside and they should be able to tell whether there is something in there. The ear drum creates a barrier in your ear and the insect can't get past it. The person with the flash light should be able to tell whether it is still in there.
