Ever felt segregated?

What will you do if you feel like you have been segregated from the world you usually live? It's been a month and a half since I began working for a different company. It's a good paying company but the thing is everyone's not connected to the internet - I can't log in to YM and have online chat with friends (even if it's lunch break or non-office hours). I couldn't even google the net to make some research, making me worried my learning curve will slow down. I have been planning on taking a CIA exam. Not the CIA in the US, you silly. It's Certified Internal Auditor. I'm a Certified Public Accountant but I feel adding another three letters after my name would be quite an improvement. And making me more competent, as I put it.
Going back, I'd like to set up my own personal communication set - internet-hooked computer, phone and other necessities - to get back into the world I use to live. Keeping in touch with friends and loved ones will make my life a better one.

give it time..:-) i was like a very tame kitten when i join my company..it's a japanese engineering firm... i cannot do things in my pc and it made me bored to hell for the whole time. I suggest you just start to write blogs in your microsoft word then submit it somewhere hehehe..that's what i do...i write blogs right away about how i feel, anger, hunger, loved, insulted...like a diary then months after i read them back and smile at the things i wrote hehehe
