Why there are only 10 memebers and 10 discussions in this interest so far?

I started this interest as I thought there are many animation lovers out there and they would like to discuss about them. Also I wanted to find some animations I can add to my big collection. But all I have in two months is 10 discussions and 10 members with this interest.
Why is it so? Are you people not interested?

To be honest not that much. I only watch animation movies with my son. But that it is. I am not much of a fanatic about them. When I see an animation movie I always try to see what where the techniques involved behind the movie. © ronaldinu 2008

Hi there. I think most of us myLotters do love animation and animated movies. It might be the low accessibility of this interest that stops most of them from finding it. It could be that animation or animated movies is not in the top choices when you go to the "my interests" section. Maybe if they had seen it on the choices of the first page of interests selections, I'm sure there would have been more than 10 members right now.
I am an avid Disney and Pixar animation movie watcher. I also love Japanese anime. Don't worry, things might still turn for the better and there would be more members of this interest.

Hello, don't be sad, my theory is we have here in mylot favorite movies and people can add as many specific movies as they could -- which may include most of animated films like kung fu panda, finding nemo, etc.
This particular interest is so far general.
