Would you join a site that offered you the chance to make huge amounts of money - but you had to pay a joining fee?
I can never understand these sites, if it is such a wonderful opportunity and guaranteed winner, why are you asking me to send you money?
There are loads of these sites and so many of them (if not all) are cons
In these hard times for us all with money short, please be careful and do not waste your money

no way! never.. i have being asked for a payment to do a data entry job.. there was this time a month ago when i have been looking for legitimate some data entry jobs so that would earn me more money than the usual sites that i am joining.. but to my surprise their jobs would ask us some fees to take examinations and then there is this sign up fee as well. i just cant understand why they would ask for payment from us when they are hiring us to do somethings.. they promised to pay thousands of dollars per month.. but would even make us pay for 5 dollars! i just find it very ridiculous!:(

Yes,I have. I joined an on-line work at home service a year ago, to work part-time. I paid an administration fee of $24.00 to use their full automated system...and feel it was well worth the money. I have been paid three times to my Paypal account for $375.,$525. and $975., so I feel comfortable that I will get paid in the future.
I hope to make larger amounts in the future (ha,ha)...but it is a learning process and you do have to work hard at it....so this isn't a "get-rich-quick" program.
But you are correct...there are way too many programs out there ready to take your money and give you nothing in return!

I totally agree with you in why you would need to pay money just to make money. That sounds really ridiculous, but yet they claim on their website that they are such a successful in making people rich. I have never invested my money into these websites just to make more money and nore do I plan to. If I were going to do that I might as well invest my money in some stocks and bonds. I prefer sticking to the sites that don't ask for money to join. I figure if I don't invest my money, and the site turns out not to be legit then what do I have to lose. Nothing but my time.

According to me, it is waste of time in reading the content of those kinds of websites.... they are the cheaters.....I know my friend looses a lot of money on those kinds of websites..... After loosing so much of money, he ask me how about those kinds of websites..... I said those websites are scams, you never send any money to those websites.....
I was shocked, after hearing his reply...... the reply is, he had spend about $5000 for those kinds of scam websites.....

I don't think that during times like this, it would be wise to risk paying for the chance to earn. Especially when money is very limited like in my case. My budget is really tight and I can't afford to spend for something that is not guaranteed to give me good opportunities. There are so many scam sites out there and I would rather play it safe. It I am to risk anything, then it would be my time and effort only, just like what I did here in mylot. I exerted effort and time, now I am just waiting for my payout.

No, I wouldn't. I believe, almost all of such sites are either pure scam or they never give the returns they claim.

Thanks for your wonderful advice.Such people show people making lots of money in a day. They also show testimonials which is always fake.I registered in one such site and paid Rs 999.and uptill now i haven't earned anything. When new year came my resolution was to work in sites without investing money and i advice the same things to my friends.Nowadays i get a mail to spend $10 and earn lots of money but i just ignore that mail.

And the Free programs are 90% scams, no worry.
I'm pretty sure the situation is the same with the paid ones, with the survey sites, and so on.
In fact there are lots of scams on the internet, generally. Thieves and scammers exploit people's dream of making money on the internet, people's greed or need, whatever.
About wasting money, well, I am sad to see that happening too.
How many have made money on the internet with no skills at all and no investment ? How many have made money having skills and investing money?
Not too many, we better be realistic before starting anything on the net. And this will surely help us and protect our money.
Is not about IF YOU DON'T RISK, you will never make money. No, is just about having knowledge before starting anything NEW and be prepared to loose or win. I'm saying that because many people, when they invest money, sometimes big money in something, they are not suspicious in that moment. They even convince everybody to follow, with or without solid arguments ...

Hi
I don't believe that earning money is easy. SO when a site come up with an idea of easy earning scheme, whether to free to join or fee based join, I ignore those sites. Who'll pay me with out a hard work? Should I pay someone, if I have a business, without getting maximum work from him?
If this is true for real world, in virtual world also making money isn't easy. I rather prefer free to join sites and where earning money requires a lot of work.
Here at mylot, if I get my payment, i would know that I have earned the money after carefully reply more than 500 discussions. It means I have worked hard.
So, my suggestion is to keep away from those sites.
Happy mylotting.

I would have to research the company. Too many are scams. There are tons of free ways to make money and that is why I am uneasy when I have to pay. Also, if I am looking for more money, that means that I do not have it to put money into it. At the same time, they need to make money too. It is like purchasing a product. They give you what they say they will and you give them money. I can see it but there are too many that do not give you what you purchased or they do but not to the extent that you expected. That is how they get away with it.

No, I would not. As many of these sites are pryamid schemes. Where they get money from you joining to pay people who are already members. Just like you won't get paid til other peopel join. It is a big waste of money.

ALWAYS do your homework before you invest in any venture. There are some sites out there that are strictly to get your money and that's it. But some people think that it's a scam if it's actually work that you have to do.
I have a home business, that does have a "membership" fee. That's mostly to get your "membership kit" so you have the right tools to get started. You aren't paying for just joining and that's it. You'r paying for the materials to get your business going.
I don't do the pay for survey type sites, there are too many free ones. It really depends on what the site is and what the venture is that they're asking you to pay for...

Ponzi schemes ask for money up front and that money pays out previous members. The scheme works well so long as lots of new members are joining and money is flowing in.
However, the time comes when new money runs out and the site closes leaving the latest members having lost their money.
Now, if you like a gambol you can make money on these schemes but you need to be in early. Join too late and you must loose.
They are all scams/cons in the end.
