I have taken steroids for 35years. They do not work. As a severe asthmatic I have probably taken them for so long, that they have no longer any effect. I know they dont help any condition. They just mask it. The side-effects where really bad and the weight increases did not help the asthma. I refuse to take them now and thought I would probably die, but Im still around and on high levels on theophylline which actually work, even though I cant breath properly everyday, but at least I am still here. Does anyone else refuse to take steroids?

My father and my auntie have lung asthma and they never use asteroids when they have asthma attacks. I do have skin asthma and it is killing me everytime the weather changes. Asthma I think is a form of allergy and perhaps I could recommend you to use a product I know that we had been using...Check it out on my website...www.mdlagac.freelife.com....The product is good and has many health benefits other than your asthma.

I am a severe asthmatic and have been since I was 12 years old and the older I get the worse it gets. I am on two different pills, two different inhalers, two different med's for my Neb. And I take them every day. And they do keep it a little under control.
