I have been searching for a new job the last couple of weeks. It sucks! I have sent out a couple dozen resumes and I have not been called or even emailed once! I know it is a good resume. I had it review by a professional resume writer type. I have a job, I just don;t like it very much. Well, that is not entirely true. I like the job, but the co-workers are not all as nice as I am. So I am looking for something else, maybe closer to home, but I am not getting any response. Now what do I do? I don't want to quit, but I don't want to go back.

With economic slow down everywhere, the scope for new jobs is gradually shrinking day by day.In a recessionary period like this, finding a suitable job is becoming very difficult. The responses and co-operation you get from your co-workers greatly depend on your way of your dealing and interacting with them. As long as you have not been able to land in a better job, it may not be wise to quit the current one . Thanks.

my biggest problem is that I need one that is closer to home. With so many young offspring in the house, I really would feel better to live closer. I have 4 kids who need their mother too

Have you tried looking for a job with craigslist and oDesk? You can sign up with them for free and after signing up you can search for the job you like. There are alot to choose from. I havent tried it myself but i've read somewhere that they're very reliable. It's great that you have a good resume because that's very important. Just be patient, im sure one of the jobs you applied for will give you a call.
