I was just thinking about all this rucus abiut this day what is it for first of all. As a kid we used to go trick or treating and I remember being robbed for all our candy by these people in scary wig masks this day is evil and not to be celebrated as far as i'm concerned and I want to know what do you feel will you partisipate in this madness because that's what it is.

No, it is to honor the souls that have passed. It is a Catholic Holiday. There is nothing creepy about this.

It is too bad that you feel this way. I have kids and do plan on taking them out trick or treating. They also have a day at school where they celebrate. Do you have any children? Would you stop them from participating? Not all the costumes anymore are scary. My kids have dressed up as cows, dogs, bulls, kangaroos etc. I do not like them wearing scary costumes.

I'm so sorry you had such bad experiences on Holloween. It's supposed to be a fun time to dress up and be silly and meet your neighbors or hang out with your friends and get a great big bag of candy. I can see why you don't like it. It's very sad that you have to miss out on the fun of Holloween and the great adult parties that occur.

I agree. Halloween is supposed to be fun. Free candy for kids; who can say no to that? Dressing up and going to the parties is one of the best part. Better question; how could you not participate?
