This is X-men #189, printed in 1985 Caption two "in a sense, her companion Racheal Summers hasn't even been born yet. The New York she remembers is that of the 21rst century." Caption three "And the memories are not pleasant" Caption four "In her mind's eye, she can see lower Manhatten burning." Caption five "The twin towers of the World Trade Center lie in ruins. Thousands are dead, many more injured." This comic book was printed 16 years before the attack. Looking at it now, it's kind of spooky.

This IS creepy. Whoever did the comics must have had a prophecy. How would he know? Or he probably didn't know and when it finally happened, I'm sure this freaked him out.

It was written by longtime X-men writer Chris Claremont. I haven't seen an interview with him about it.

In my opinion it's just coincidence. still kind of strange. As for what occured on 9-11 far from it. But I'll save that for another topic.

If it was just one comic, I might brush it off as a coincidence. However, it was way more than one. Check out my blog. www Mercurysgarden com. I can't post a direct link because of the rules here.
