If I am given the choice I would not want to be freaky because I am not very attractive, if I wear black lipstick and black nail polish I think I would turn out to look like a vampire or a ghost. I like to look pretty and if there is a new cosmetic which can make me look sweeter than now, I would buy it as soon as I know it exist in the store. But I understand being a teenager makes you want to stand out from others. I was a teenager too once upon a time ago, and I had experienced the same feeling as you are now. Teenagers want to be noticed, and want everyone to listen to what they have to say. This is normal so if you wear a black lipstick I would not be shocked. It is weird but it is not a surprise. LOL. That is funny that you mention this today. Today was freaky day at my daughters high school. She dressed really freaky and she wore some purple lipstick today also. She looked cute but I don't think I could handle her dressing like that all of the time. She did it for fun though.

well i dont want to look freaky perse because i am old (47) lol but i do like to look 'different' and to that end, i wear stuff that stands out (big jewellry, weird shoes with pointy toes, that sort of thing) i am an artist so i like to dress well, differently!

Well, im not as freaky as you describe yourself as 0.0 But i try to dye my hair as often as possible and wear tripp gear sometimese. but people tell me i look to "Yummy" and "Gangsta" haha i dont try to. But when i do try to look yummy and Gagnsta....well it works again =[ Maybe im not destined to be freaky.....*cries*

Freaky is interesting. Normal is boring. I guess you ahve people at your school who talk about you behind your back and laugh at you? Oscar Wilde once said "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about" and it is very true. When I'm at the shopping centre or somewhere and I see girls all walking around looking the same, wearing the same things, I find it humorous but then frustrating. Why can't people grow their own brain and dress how they want. I suppose they wouldn't really know what they want because they have fashion and music shoved down their throat by magazines and TV. This discussion has turned into a rant but I will say keep looking freaky or however you want to look. Be interesting.

i am 22, and i think look punk and freaky would no longer suit my age now, especially that i am working in an office!hehehe but when i was in college i had my freaky days too! i would dye my hair black and paint my nails baclk too. i would wear black bead necklaces and black bead bracelettes to suit my black spaghetti strap!hahaha i love remembering how i look when i was in college.. but right now.. i had never done that for a long time.. i have been wering blouses and lip shiner on my lips.. i had never tried wearing black lipsticks though..hehehe guess i just dont have that much guts to ear some then!:)

no, i do not like to look freaky but to each his/her own. i think it is great for people to express themselves with make up and clothes and jewelry. i like to blend in and not stand out as i do not like alot of attention drawn to me.

i used to have black nail polish and black lipstick too :) pretty cool but people look at me like i'm a freak (read: alien) i hate that i found a matte/cream type of black lipstick once. that's the coolest i've found but i didn't have the money to buy it. then it's gone and the only black lippy i could find is the gloss-like lippy. not glossy, but not creamy. like a plastic semi transparent layer on your lips. i hate that. but i got it anyway. and put some on my eyelids to make me look like some sick kid (way back before smoky eyeshadow was a trend) i put black henna paste (powder + water) and put it on my nails. i got lots of questions from my lecturers (nail polish is not allowed) and friends and even a girl shopkeeper. the colour went from black to purplish black to dark brown. and the dark brown is the prettiest :)

Well I hate the freaky look. It scares me. Maybe if I see you in person I'll just turn the other way around. But I'm glad you're comfortable in your own skin. I hope you don't let other people talk you down just because you like to be different.

I don't think black nail polish looks freaky,it has become pretty accepted.The black lipstick is still a little out their to most because it's so bold and it's the first thing they see. I bet there was a time when red was out there to.

no not at all. i like to be good. I never put on something which makes me something freky.

My daughter wears black nailpolish and stuff. Dont worry, looking freeky is trendy, my daughter always looks good.
