having sister is like having most precious gifts of your life.i have 4 sisters and u know what i feel about them i m very lucky to have them because they care fr me a lot but there's also a disadvantage of them as i m younger i have to listen whatever all of them say i cant go ahead of their sayings i have to obey them but i share everything with them so theyare just like my best freinds as if i can trust them than no one else

Having a sister is like having a friend just right there beside you. When you're happy or when you're sad, she's there to witness it all. Someone who is there to listen and to understand.
The disadvantage is when you're not close with your sister. You can't rely on her.

Now we have the opposite issue hehe. I don't have a brother that's why i'm more closer to my boy-friends. I have 2 sisters. Sometimes they're annoying cause they're meanie but since i'm the eldest, i'm the boss hehe. It feels great to have a sister cause you can share your things and thoughts about life. I like it when my younger sister visits the house i would ask her to cook for me and we will all eat together on the floor =D

I can say that I am blessed to have two older sisters and an older brother. Because I am the youngest of four, I know what it feels to be a sister myself to them although I am treated like a baby until now. There really are advantages and disadvantages of having a sister. The disadvantages that I encountered are: I get to wear the old clothes that they pass me over, which I thought was so unfair; I get to be compared with them; and there seemed to be a competition among us including my brother. As for the advantages, I can't count them all. Maybe one of the things that made me happy of having a sister is that I can tell them things that I can't tell my mom. They gave me advices and thought me on my school home works. They also accompany me to places that I am not allowed to go alone. Now that I am a grown-up that I am able to appreciate my sisters. Sadly, both of them are abroad but we do still keep in touch and IM almost everyday. I miss them a lot. =)

The advantages definitely out weigh the disadvantages. My sister is the one person who knows me best. When I need a good cry, she is an ear. She has a lot of tough love for me; but she just wants the best. We were raised the same way, went through the same things, & so now she & I connect on many different levels. She is my best friend & my listener. I wouldn't know what to do without her. I have many friends also who are like a sister to me. Not as good as my own, but they can help out when the going gets tough.
