I don't have any remedies for after you get a stomach ache...except for drinking Ginger Ale...but you do need to keep track of what you are eating and see if you can determine what is triggering them so that you can avoid getting them. I am sensative to some foods so I don't eat them. I can eat blazing hot chicken wings with no problems but not a hamburger from McDonalds. I can eat one if I cook it at home though. I can't drink coffee for the most part anymore either. I hope this helps some.

thanks spalladino, i had chicken fingers and rice for dinner with water to drink, and i don't think thats the cause, so i don't know what triggered it i never get stomach aches, unfortunately though im a headache girl!

Peppermint or chamomile tea seem to work best for me. I also try not to eat any food that might disrupt my stomach. Anything with spices to it is off limits as well as anything that's not so easy to digest. Dairy is also a big no no. I stick with things like toast or broth until I'm sure that my stomach can handle more.

When I get stomach aches, I usually have to go to the bathroom, and then I feel better. Now that is a remedy.

What type of stomach ache are you getting... I mean is it a regular pain or you get it only this one time. Is it because of the food you ate or is it because of gastritis? There are different remedies for different types of stomach aches. There are also pains because of constipation. If you want to know more on the remedies I suggest you open this site http://herbs1001.blogspot.com and there are a lot of solutions that you can find. My husband on the other hand told me to drink the mixture of wheat flour with plain water. Dilute the flour and gulp it all in one breath. After that your stomach will be cured. I don't know but my husband really likes using this method because it is very effective on him. Maybe you should try?

honestly, that mixture doesn't sound too appetizing LOL but it's never bad to keep it in mind now that you mention it, it may actually be pains caused by constipation (not that everyone needs to know, haha) but im gonna go check out that website and see what they say for remedies thanks so much ladysurvivor!!

I use fenugreek seeds with yogurt or thick buttermilk(one tsp with a glass of buttermilk)- just don't try to munch the seeds - it tastes awful. Sometimes Dried chilly seeds with yogurt also helps if you have any pain because of menstruation. I have terrible stomach pain sometimes and these quick remedies help a lot.
