Hello everyone! My friend is moving to Hamburg soon. Please tell me how Hamburg is, how far it is from Berlin, and what are the easiest and cheapest routes to get there. Also, please tell me the attractions, the best getaways, and good restaurants in there. Any reply would be appreciated. Thank you!

How is your friend doing around Hamburg by now? Hope that fine. It's quite far and different from Berlin in many aspects, particulary socially and cultural-wise. Let us know how things are running for him and if you've had the chance to visit him there yet? :)
