how can people be really equal?

can all the people be really equal? today I came across a big problem in our team ,while everyone of us has his own role in our team ,we have different work to do , there are many terms determined our job are different.we will afford different duty and gain different honor !then how about our society, it's equality is relative there can be any equal!
