What brand of Cat food do you use. My cat came with a bag of Iams. Is this a good brand of cat food?

My four cats eat only Wellness canned food. It is a premium food made with human grade ingredients. They eat 2 meals a day, morning and evening. Canned food is better for cats as they are obligate carnivores and do not need to eat grain, the primary ingredient of dry cat food. It isn't digested properly by cats and can make them gain weight. Also, they don't drink enough water on their own and need the moisture from wet food. I hope you find a healthy food your cats will enjoy.

I have been buying Blue Bag. Blue Bag is for cats and it only comes in 40 pound bags. Red Bag is for dogs. LOL What a great marketing ploy. Remembering the name is easy. Just look at the color of the bag. You don't even need to be able to read English.
Because of the port strike (I hate strikes)_it's not available so I bought another food from Canada. My cats like it better. It's a little bit more expensive, but if I can remember the name, I might buy it again. I don't remember the name. It's not as easy to remember, like Blue Bag ,in the big blue bag.

Yes, according to my cat's vet that is a very good brand along with Science Diet and Royal Canin. My cat used to have Royal Canin but now since we have to cut cost a bit, we gave him Friskies for the meantime.

Most of the name brand ones are good, with high quality ingredients. I avoid the bargain brands, because although the imgredients sound similar, they certainly aren't. If you cat likes a variety of foods, you may want to consider making your own. I do, and get the mix I use (adding my own meat & veggies) from www.sojos.com Worth checking out, all of their ingredients are human-quality. No by products at all.
