Do you go to church often? I don't go to church every Sunday, but I am still very religious. I pray everyday and read my bible at least once a week. I would say I have a pretty close relationship with the Lord. What about you?

I've seen many religious people, they're always present in many church gathering and masses, sometimes they went to the church 3 times a week (Wed. Fri. Sun )but when u meet/know them personally in their way of life opposite to ur expectation. Ehemmmm ... I am not religious and not a perfect person! I believe religion can't save you from your sin...... no other than the Lord JESUS CHRIST!

I have a personal relationship with Jesus, my Lord and Savior. As a result I am sure that after my life here on earth... I am going to heaven to join my Savior. I have been saved by virtue of the blood of my Lord whom I accepted as my Lord and Savior. But my salvation has nothing to do with my religion although I chose my religion because it is Bible believing and recognizes Jesus as Lord and Savior and no other one. Although I love my Church and I am faithfully attending all its services, I will not say that I am religious. I would rather say: ā€œIā€™m a Christian and I love the Lord.ā€ As a result of my love for Him I am living my life to glorify his holy name in the best way that I can. I worship without fail every Sunday and attend prayer meetings whenever the traffic situation allows me to catch up with the time. I also read the Bible and meditate on His word in the morning and along the road while on the bus on my way to the office. I also do have regular and constant prayer time with God. I regularly spend quiet time with Him every morning as I wake up. I also do serve God by teaching in the Sunday School of our Church for children and for ladies alternately. I also sing in the Choir and sing solo for God in our worship services as part of my service to Him. I am not perfect but I am doing my best to live my life in accordance with His

It Is Better to say "I am Godly" rather than saying "I am Religious". Jesus Christ Didn't come to create Religion, Only to Show the Way to Heaven through Him. Let us Grow together in his Name. Amen. God bless!

The Word of God NEVER promotes religion, There is No Such Thing as CHRISTIAN RELIGION. Jesus Christ is the Truth (John 14:6). God's Word is Truth (John 17:17). Religion is man's way! BUT, the Bible is God's way! Religion never saved anyone, and never will. If you don't go to church means you DON'T Thank God for everything that he has done in your life including forgiving you your sin and delivering you from all curse and Satan. Then, how could you say you have pretty close relationship with the LORD. When you don't sit and talk with your family or spend some quality time with them, does it bring any good to your relationship? Can you be close to them? Having a close relationship with someone means you spend time with them, cherish your relationship. If you want to be close to God, love HIM. Give him the Best from your life, give him THE FIRST place in your life. Draw close to God and He will draw close to You. Be Blessed!

By far, by VERY far, my strongest spiritual experiences have started happening when I started using a plant that's meant to raise our consciousness, closer to the higher worlds. Salvia Divinorum. I've seen things I've never imagined, been detached from the body, seen through the material realm, seen sunny versions of myself that radiated so much light and positive energy, they were like the Sun itself, and seen exactly HOW we are all one, HOW we all have countless levels of existence above us, above this one down here in the material world, and many other things that cannot be really expressed here in words. I am somewhat guilty of not using it often enough, and this is something I'm working on currently. Churches and priests do very little for me, and I find that rather than going to the middleman, it is much better to SEE the things that are up there, much more convincing, and life-changing. Peace everyone :)

i can not say that i am a religious person and i can not say that i am not. i am a God fearing person and i respect other people. i dont go to church often but i dont think that you can say a person is religious just because he/she goes to church often. well that is only my views. like you i can say that i have a close relationship with God and i also teach my children to be a God fearing person.
