$5200? that's such a huge amount. i don't think i will be spending that much for something that i don't really need. well, there are other far more cheaper alternatives for that. i am a practical person and i make sure that i spend my hard-earned money for something really important and essential. you know, we can't blame some people who spend alot on something. we all have our own "weaknesses". some people keep on buying things like shoes or bags, even if they don't use or need it. anyway, just let your friend be happy about what he has bought. enjoy life! :)

I can think of much better things to do with that much money. I think that there is hari on our bodies for a reason. I'm not always sure of what that reason is, but it's there, so why worry about it?

wow, that's a lot of money. i'm actually undergoing laser hair removal right now (since waxing & shaving doesn't work for me) but i'll be spending less than $2000 in a span of almost 1 year. other than the amount, i'm also considering the safety. i'd rather have my laser hair removal done in a clinic. i mean, if i buy an apparatus and do it myself, i'd probably end up burning my skin.

It is not wise to do so, the money he spent on the apparatus could have been enough to wax and shave the hair for a year plus. Buying the equipment is more expensive considering depreciation.
