which is the best web browser? and why do you think it is the best?

no doubt, it is windows Internet Explorer.
everything is included in it and you can get all in one in it.
use it, understand it. other browsers are differet in their categories but
IE is combined and best fit for all and everything. you will see that
in anywhere on the web the first requirement is IE and the other browsers always remain in the "optionals" list.

you might say IE is the best and thats your opinion i cant change that. but you can try firefox and you'll see why maximum people prefer firefox over IE.
have you tried firefox? if not try it, its the best.

i not only use IE but work with firefox at the same time and for that i can
differenciate between the bad and betters.

opera 9.6 has just been released . you might just find some bug. so you cant call it the best browser.firefox has already set a standard for security. so its too early to label opera 9.6 as the best browser yet. i just like the interface , its way ahead of firefox in the looks section.

Since I saw you newbie here I just want say welcome and hope you enjoy posting here. Actually I really lost count on how many respond that I've given to this same question that seem to popping up every few hours. Yes the from all the responded around 85-90% will pick on Firefox to best web browser around.Cheers mate.

i am familiar with only two, internet explorer and mozilla firefox. i prefer the former because i was used to using that. i think firefox is just new and only a few uses it. another thing is that the usual default browser when installing the programs of a new computer is internet explorer.

i have only used 2--internet explorer and mozilla firefox. and internet explorer sucks and has many problems, adware, viruses, and exe.com files always mess up my computer, making it freeze and crash. so i stopped using it and now i use firefox. it is a lot better. i havent had any problems with it yet.
