The church is now very active in campaigning against abortion... and yah, they are right because for me ABORTION is the greatest destroyer of peace because it is the war against the child, his right to live has been violated and no other than the mother herself who killed his own child, so a mother who is thinking of abortion should be helped to love and to respect the life of her child.

as you can most likely guess from my comment on the above post, ive had an abortion and i dont regret my choice at all. at the time i became pregnant i was a student living miles away from my family and friends, the father was well not exactly a good person. i was in no way mature enough or ready to be a mother. im not sure i ever will.
if not wanting to bring a child intot his world that couldnt be looked after properrly or loved the way it deserved makes me a killer then so be it.

Abortion is sin.. it is a sort of killing/murder of the innocent child. Of course the mother is the one who has a big responsibility when deciding to abort a child. Abortion will not happen without the consent of the mother of course. Sometimes, the mother is the one doing it herself. Whatever is her reason, she can be considered as murderer/killer and she committed sin.

The church (any church) can believe & preach whatever it thinks is right to it's followers. I have no issue with that. However, the church is not the government. The government's job is to protect our rights as citizens. A woman has & should have the right to her body. To make any & all decisions about what happens with & within her body. If a woman is not ready or does not wish to be a parent at this time, then it is absolutely her right to end her pregnancy.
Terminating is not "a war against a child" or any such nonsense. It is not a "child" it is a pregnancy.

I would never have an abortion. I believe that life begins at conception and a pregnancy is dated from the woman's last date that her period began. Therefore a lady is four weeks pregnant if she performs a pregnancy test and it turns out positive the very day that she has missed her period. After that she might feel sad or worried if it is a surprise pregnancy. She might have hormonal changes and feel sad as a result of her emotions. I think that many ladies have an abortion then regret it, straight away, or years after. Many depressed ladies have suffered having an abortion but it is not something they can change. Once a baby has been aborted no amount of money will bring that baby to life. Every year the lady might remember the day her baby's due date was or the day of the abortion. I think adoption is there if a lady is pregnant but doesn't want to keep her baby. The aborted babies are the lost people of the world. You might like to read Gianna, the story of a lady that survived abortion.

well, all i can say about abortion is that it is inhumane.i think it's only understandable if there are complications with the pregnancy but doing it intentionally like cases of unwanted pregnancy is definitely not forgivable.i definitely agree with you that it is a violation of the child's right to live.and in the first place,it is not the child's fault anyway, but to the couple who made him/her.
