Why havent we put more effort in finding bin laden instead of getting saddam husseine out of power. Wouldnt u think it would be more important to get bin laden cuz of the people who died on 9-11? I believe we couldve had him by now if we had our troops looking for him then hussein. Why is the troops are dying for iraq when we should have been where bin laden was?

A lot of people might not like this answer, but it is my opinion. If Bin Laden is captured, the war on terror ends. This would mean no more no-bid contracts in Iraq for the Military industrial complex. The money was not in Afghanistan, it was in Iraq, so that's why we hit it. Also, the powers of the govornment has increased dramatically since 9-11, and if Bin Laden was captured the escalation in executive power would ed.
