When you question me the same, yes I was. I had taken some money from my father pocket without knowing to him. When I had chance, I will take them. I know it was some disease. So how many of you made some little thefts. Do you consider the person as a theif when they stolen some thing even they can buy it and it costs nothing.

I dont steal anything from my family because i know that its a bad thing to do and it's a sin also. For some people it doesnt matter to them if they steal and they dont really care but everyone must know that stealing is not just a big crime but it can also eat our conscience. But i also know that there are people out there who are having that kind of sickness and they cannot prevent themselves to do it and they cannot be totally blame for that to be fair. Maybe they should consult somebody or you should consult somebody who you can trust to help you solve that problem.

Im just viewing my opinion and my side in here. I dont try to encourage everybody that im a very good person because i dont steal. I just cannot remember doing things like that because i am and was always just scared to do it and i have no point to do it . My parents dont posses so many things that make me steal from them during my childhood life and ive been living alone for a long time not until this time .I think i dont have to explain much in here because it has really nothing to do with me alone but i am just ask if i do the same as others do and i answer that.

i stole 50 dollars from my mom when i was about 14.
I paid the price though, she found out and i was made to pay back the money with interest, $25 worth of interest.
The only thing i have stolen since that $50 is my husbands heart :)
stealing is only a disease if its consistant, which is called kleptomania, or being a kleptomaniac, one which cannot help but steal.
If its something that we have done as children or teens and it was only once or twice, i dont consider that to be a disease, i consider that being a kid and learning through our mistakes :)

I went to a phase where I would take some stuff I like from my cousins or classmates. I guess I was 6 years old then. But I have changed and I learned my lessons, one of which is that envy triggers such behavior.

when you had taken something which was not yours or mine i considered that as bad and a thief...well of course that exclude when you were still young and dont know about it..unless you had been caught and been told by your parents about it...actually i had one particular experience which i really cant forget i was i think 4 or 5 years old that time.. just 2 houses away from our house was a store which was owned by my aunt..and it so happen that i like the candy that was in display and inorder to buy it i had to to take a cash from the drawer to buy it without my parents knowledge..and i was reprimanded when they had known...

MOst people have taken something that doesn't belong to them. As a child I would take anything that was left around, but as an adult I understand the price of taking that which is not mine so I never even think about it.

hi adi
my father used to bring home cash salary and give it to me for hiding ... then he will distribute the money for payments and bills, for home expenses he will leave some balance and place it back in my hiding compartment ..(i never knew this ..i thought nobody knows it)
If anyone wants money they must ask me as only i know the hiding place .. when i was 9 i became a bit daring, i used to take money for my mothers expenses, so i will take some extra for myself ...
when i went to shop, i will buy ice cream or chocolate and finish it there before coming home ..
later .. i took the money to school, friends used to flock me as i will buy for them ... it was like this for almost 3 months, i dont know how my mother found out .. i was beaten to glory .. my father did not know of this or maybe he does .. maybe he realised that the money finishing fast ..and asked my mother ...
i stopped then and never repeated it ever again ..
cheers

I have never stolen money in my childhood since my dad used to be so strict in all that issues. And I was way too innocent then to steal. But in my teens I used to say to my dad that I need to buy some books and stationaries and keep the balance money to myself. But now I just ask them right away, sometimes I regret for having done such things when I was young, will silently say a sorry to god whenever I feel bad for it. It was a secret all these years. Now I have revealed things to u ppl. Don't say it to anyone. Sssssshhhhhhh
Cheers

Hi I too did in my childhood time but it was in different way. When my parents were giving to purchase from shop for retail thing, I was searching all over 4 to 5 shops and whichever was cheaper I was purchasing and I was saying to my parents the medium range prize and I was keeping remaining defference money.
