The rain is starting to bore me...

It has been raining relentlessly for the past few days and it really gets me. first of all, i don't like the wet surroundings, the chilly air, and the miserable feeling that i always associate with rain. a poet can derive inspirations from raindrops but i am a mere human with lacklustre talent in verses and rhymes so i don't have much use in rains. i don't have farms either to pray for rain to irrigate my plants better.
rain is needed to balance nature, blah, blah, but to continuously pound for days is really rude. stop existing for a while, please. our town fiesta is coming and i fear the rainy season will continue on until then and it's not a pretty premonition. i want to be able to go outside without having to roll my pants to prevent it from getting soiled. there will be a carnival and I'd like my daughter to enjoy the rides and we'll eat popcorn and lots of cotton candy.
is it raining so much where you are right now? do you despise it as much as i do or you don't really give it much thought?

I know that rain can bring on depression, sleepiness, or even body aches. Just remember that we need rain, to grow! Don't let it get you down, read a book, or write on MYLOT, find comforts to get your mind off of rain, if you don't like it. I love the rain because I know that we need it to grow. Thank God for blessing us with rain. I hope you feel better soon!

Yeah very true. Have always loved to watch rain through my house's windows,but when it comes to stepping outside my house it is really sickening. It's been raining here for the past one week,bit reduced today. But then enjoying the rain sitting beside a window with a coffee mug is the bestest feeling one can get

its raining here in mindanao(philippines) almost every afternoon. well, the rainy season might affect our day to day activities, but i see it as an opportunity for me to spend more time with my kids at home. since my scheduled activities will be cancelled due to the rain, i might as well stay at home and play with my kids. don't be too sad when the rain falls, find a way to enjoy it instead, or why not go out and enjoy yourself bathing under the rain with your family, its more fun!
