This is for the 30-somethings and the 40-somethings. I just love the '80s. Life was so simple then. I used to be with my friends or at least I could talk with them over the phone. Nowadays, we just chat, text or email. And oh, I love the music. I'm a big fan of Tears for Fears, Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.
What about you? Can you share what you love about that bygone era?

I love the clothes that they used to wear, and now still do. I love, watching all of their old music videos and movies.. The 80s was a fun time to live in.. Not like it is now.. I also liked the way that women would style their hair.. And how they wore their make up too.. Gas was not high, nor was taxes either. The living costs were not that expensive.. It was less crime.. I would have loved to be an adult during these times.. I was just looking at an old Madonna video yesterday.. I love her songs.. She was very 80tish!@!!!!!

What isn't to love? Music was great (I agree with TFF, Phil Collins, Brian Adams) the clothes were shiny, and the hair was BIG! Who couldn't love that??!
I'm so excited I found one of my favorite 80's items at walmart the other day... the Banana clip. That thing we used to make a "line" of ponytail, instead of just the small circle one. The best part is... my girls love it, too! Now, if I can just get them to let me tease and spray, tease and spray. LOL!
