How many languages do you speak?

I am one of those who speaks only English haha.....So, I just want to convey my admiration for anyone who can speak two or more fluently. I must have been born without the language gene :-) I tried French and Latin at school but I was useless at both (couldn't get my head around it). Give me science, business, computers and I can drink them up. Give me languages and I am lost haha! My father-in-law speaks 9 languages, reads and writes 5 and understands about 12-15. He is almost a God to me haha!

Wow that is alot of languages i would get confused between them all!! lol i speak english of corse, German and am learning spanish. I can say a few words in other languages but not enoughh to get by on.

I speak English and Russian fluently, I used to be able to speak Hebrew fluently too but somehow it all just vanished from my mind. I speak nearly fluent Spanish (I like to think lol) and I'm learning Japanese. I can understand some Italian and French though because they're so similar to English and Spanish. I love languages too!
