My poor dad has a screw loose...

Literally, that is. My dad has been having a very hard time walking for the past 2 months. It's gotten so bad recently that he could only walk with a cane if he was cranked up on LOTS of narcotics, or he had to use a wheelchair. As of Saturday, he couldn't use the cane at all, so he's only been able to get around in a wheelchair. SO he had an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon today. They did an X-ray and found that a screw on his hip implant had broken! They said it would cause excruciating pain in itself, but if it were to pop out, it would likely split his leg open! So he's not supposed to move, take a shower, etc., until after they go in an either fix it or replace it. Poooor dad. I told him he was such a he-man to be going around with a screw loose for all this time. I hope they can schedule the surgery soon, so he's not in so much pain.
