We were told by customer service that because my phone is still under warranty that I could get a new phone for $10. When we went to the store, my hubby and I were told a new phone under the warranty would be $160. Big difference! I then chose to send off the cell for repair. Up to 12 weeks is what it will take. Ever been told one thing by one member of a company? And something different by another? Left hand not know what the right is doing!! Who else has had a loaner phone?

It isn't exactly the same as being lied to. The rep could have been confused on the phone or the rep in the store might just have done what was easier. It could go either way. In this case, buying a whole new phone because the phone under warranty broke doesn't seem right. I wouldn't accept that. I'd talk to the person on the phone some more or go to a different location.

There is no way that a phone under warranty should cost that much. I know when I broke one of my phones it was $50 to replace it under the insurance I had on the phone that was no longer under warranty. You should not have to pay for something that is still under warranty.

That is a total rip off,I would be complaining to someone and next time it is always best to get all that in writing and who said it. It might have had to be honored then..never know. I would be really mad if this happened to $150 dollars is a very high raise from what you were expecting it to be..
