someone already answered your query but still dear it is not about making long posts and adding up things when you don't have anything to share. try to make your posts some 4-5 lines and to do this chose the topics that you think you can contribute and trust me even if you make less posts, you will be compensated for it.
and if you don't find yourself making enough posts then try posting pics and you can post 24 maximum, start by posting lower pics daily and then gradually increase the number of pics and you will see a gradual increase in your earnings.
try it! it works for me and so many mylotters.
and try to enjoy your time on mylot. so many nice thing to learn here and new ideas.
keeps me engaged and i pass my free time here.you have joined mylot quite some time now and make it worth dear.
good luck

Galoforce, You are talking about quality and your star is below par. My friend it is about posting what's on your mind and who wants to contribute to your discussion. Try and response alot to others discussions and post more than four lines. Don't just post and leave it there go and see if there was an answer to your response and this will enable you to have more interaction. Welcome to MYLOT and do what you think is the best as long as you are in the Rules and Regulation.

More discussions and responses you post, the more reward you will achieve here. The longer discussions will have certainly an edge over the shorter ones. A discussion should normally cover at least 4-5 lines and should be framed in a meaningful way. Mylot gives multiple benefits to its member including financial benefit. You get the chance to gather much reliable information and tips for making money online.Besides, you can enjoy the company of many good friends here and make fun. Your earning entirely depends on how intelligently you make use of the information you gather through this forum. Thanks.

I think yes, your posts should be both qualitatively and quantitatively sound. I gave one line replies for about 70-80 discussions and their numbers were never credited. So,I would suggest you to give elaborate replies and quality ones.
All the best!!

How do you know if those posts were never credited? Or did you post ONLY one line replies for 70-80 and got no money? My earning page just shows one lump sum (so far just few cents) and doesn't break it down per post or anything. Maybe I'm misunderstanding?

It depends upon the discussion you're actually responding to. If it requires your opinion most of the time your response it longer than usual. You can also respond to a discussion profoundly. It should something that makes sense. Like what myLot said in their guidelines it should NOT be something like "me too!" or just a "yes" or "no". I have a discussion wherein the person responded in just 4 words. It was really profound even though its short it made a lot of sense.
Be sure to read the myLot guidelines before posting. Another advice, Just have fun!! You won't even notice that you are already earning a lot.

Well, lengthy discussions don't earn you money- quality discussions do! If it takes a lot of words to get the point across, then that's fine. But if you're just going to paste something here, then I don't think you'll earn much. The standard length to earn money is between 4-5 sentences, so stick to that. One liners won't work at all.

Yes, You have to give responses as descriptive as possible. The lengthier and discussion related responses gets more money. Also quality matters a lot. With quality if you write discussions related lengthy response then you will earn more money.

hi
Welcome to mylot and hope you enjoy your stay here.
I don't think its the lenght or no. of your post that matters most. Because, when i was new, one day i posted around 70 posts with 3-4 lines. At the end of the day i found that my earning was the lowest.
Now i post around 20-25 posts a day, but for every post i try to try relevent things which properly express what i want to say. And i must say these 25 posts are generating much more than those 70 posts.
So quality is an important factor at the same time, write as much to properly express what you want to mean. It's balance between quality and quantity. You can't ignore one of them.

I would say no. There are many posts here that although lengthy in terms of words ,thus contain a lot redundant and irrelevant words. Always remember that mylot pays for quality and not for the quantity. What if I'm just repeating my words? Will mylot pays that? Of course not.
And also sometimes those that have a lengthy discussions may get only few responders, why? It's too tiring to read a short story. Lol

That brings up another question that I had. Does mylot know if your post is a quality one or not? I mean how can they tell since it is automated? I tend to post fewer long posts on not as many interests, but on interests that I'm very interested in.
But I haven't been doing very long, not long enough to know how well it works. So far the highest I've made in one 24 hour period was 69 cents, and usually much less.
But I heard people say that the + and - do not count towards your pay, however, I wonder if they do, because mylot says to + people not by whether you agree but by whether their post contributed to keeping the conversation going. So that makes it seem as if that rating is one of the ways they can tell if it's a quality post. But if that;s the case, that's very bad because, esp in politics, there are many people being given - just because their opinion is different.
SO does anyone know? How can mylot's automated system know if we make quality posts or gibberish?

You can earn money through short responses but you won't earn as much when compared to someone who has written a very in depth and detailed one. My best advice for you is to always post quality posts no matter if their really long or short...as long as they answer the questions that's the most important thing.

Ok, here's what I've noticed my short time here! Responses should be at least 20 words of meaningful content! If it's not meaningful, we will notice and may not support you as you're not answering our discussions effectively, thus will effect your earnings! I've also noticed .02 cents per discussion, .02 cents per response, .01 cent per comment!
But I have noticed that discussions are credited if they are longer than 20 words, so make your discussions meaningful! Make sure it's something you're interested in and not just doing, or it will have no bearing and will get negative responses! Just my observance:

It is good topic for new comers. Lots of contadiction whether good topic, lengthy topic or what else counts towards the earning. I am new to commeny on this. Earning so far 80 cents only.
mylott administartion say give more description means more lengthy. I have seen some discussion gathers mementum very fast, some does not. Is it something to do with no. of friends and interests also.

I think it's quantity. What if a person is poor in English? Like me I am not that fluent when it comes to English. I sometimes have a bad grammar. And there is one rule in mylot that you should not criticize the English of someone. This is international and not all mylotters are fluent in English. And one thing if it is quality, there are so many responses each day, will mylot check each response? That would cause them a lot of work. So I think it is quantity.
Before I don't know that the minimum requirement should be 4lines. Sometimes I reply only 2 lines. I've never earned 1 cent a day. Then I read one of the discussion that it should be at least 4 lines. Then I followed it and my earnings grew.

I don't know exactly how they determine the payment rate, but I have noticed that some of my longer answers do bump up my earnings more than shorter ones. It depends on the quality of the answer and what you have contributed to the discussion. I wouldn't go on and write lengthy answers just for the sake of earning more, anyway, people don't want to read them when they are so long. Try to get some referrals, that way you won't have to work as hard! Good Luck!

Hello pryce_mbg! Welcome to myLot!
I would suggest you make lengthy post to earn more money. I limit myself for 5 sentences in every reply. Making just one or two sentences will not make that much (You can do that but it will take more time for you to reach payout). Replies like "Me too!", "Thank you for replying.", "Have a good day!", "Happy mylotting!" will not earn you money. You posts need some quantity in terms of words in order to earn. Most suggest, make at least four sentences or more to your replies.
On another note, just enjoy myLot with its discussions and you will just see you are making posts of quantity and quality. Don't think of the cash first.. think of the enjoyment you will get and the cash will just come.

If you can post lengthy discussions or responses, it would be better. Just make make sure that the ideas are not going round and round. It would be better if your discussions or responses are direct to the point. It could be easily understood by the readers. You can still earn money for responding or discussing with only short sentences. Don't you worry.

Hi pryce_mbg. Welcome to mylot. I really don't know how the paying works. Some days I make lot of posts and start some discussions and some days I don't do as much but I would get paid more. It's confusing to me how they do it so I just try to post as much as I can and try to make it more than just a couple of lines. Have a good lotting day.
