why are so many people playing like they are mentally challenged to get a social security check? Haven't most of them realised that if they got approved over the next few years the money probably won't even be there. I see so many people talking about they have bi-polar disorder, and depression this in insane but unfortunately they continue to go as far as getting admitted in to mental health facilitys to further their fraud I know 2 people in general that needs to quit faking and get a job or something that's just pitiful isn't it how many of these lazy BUMS do you know?

Amen!! The first time I ran into this was back in '92 when I met a guy that lived down the street. He was in his early 20's and got an SSI check...for playing with Barbies...yup, playing with Barbies. His sister got one also for being nuts, as did his mom. I also know some other ppl, a little closer to home, that are perfectly capable of working but would rather get those "free" checks then do anything. I know a couple of them that brag, actually brag, about getting "crazy checks" as they call them. What really ticked me off is that my Hubby paid into SS for over 30 years and when he became disabled with Degenertive Disc Disease and couldn't work anymore, he had to fight tooth and nail to get his SSA and then it was partly due to his age. As for these ppl sucking up SS, they don't care...it's a free ride for them. I'm not saying that there isn't anyone that needs it but I do know there's alot of them that are scamming the system. Personally, (and I'll probably get flamed for this), I think if they are incapable of earning a living b/c of severe mental problems then they need to be in a hospital where they can be cared for instead of allowed to roam the streets...I'd rather see funding for more mental institutions then all the money just handed out right and left to every fruitcake. It's sad but brutally true..I don't think you said anything wrong the truth hurts sometimes.

Hi friend, some persons take this kind of mental issues as their advantage and become lazy due to their illness, but this kind of activity is wrong. They must face the challenges and work hard for their needs. This kind of problems are not a factor to make free income.

I don't know any Bums or people being fraudulant about needing the payment. The guy I know has had open heart surgery and a quadruple bi-pass. He cannot work the job he was doing. I am sure faking it makes it harder gor the people who really need it to recieve payments. Its a real shame.
