I would like to know if any of you have ever or know of anyone who has ever found out that they are not who they think they are. Allright, hold on a minute and listen to what I am really asking you. You or this person has found out that the name they have been called "all of their lives" (as far as they know) and/or the birth certificate that they have always known was theirs is not theirs. You may have been adopted and someone changed the birth certificate or you may not even know what happened. ...

This discussion fits my life. My great-great-grandfather was left on a door
step and our whole family has a last name that we are pretty sure, isn't
ours. But, who knows... the child could have been an illegitimate child
of the mans that lived there. Hmmm, but who had him? It's a mystery!
