What pholosophies do you follow in life?

What are the things that you take to heart when you live your everyday life? The morales that you set for yourself to never cross?
For me, there are quite a few. But the most important one to me is: "never hurt a woman, always make them feel like queens"
It might sound stupid to some of u -especially the males- but that's the main rule I live by on a daily basis. Actually, I have it carved so deeply in my heart that I don't even need to 'think' about it anymore, I just act upon it simultaneously, although I am a girl myself.
How about you? What's the most important pholosphy you have chosen for yourself? The most important rule in your life?

i have two main philosophies in like:
1. "Have straight vision and straight path and beware of stones and thowns"
2. this is a story
once king alexander undercovered went to one shop and ask for a book in gigantic voice then the shopkeeper asked "who r u to roar like that" then he replied "i am an orphan by birth, soldier by profession, and a king by achievement"... we should try to reach the top with what we have.....

Some of my favourite philosophies i follow :
1) Think you can and you will.
2) Take responsibility for your life.
3) Be clear in what you want in life.
4) Never never never give up.
5) Act now.
6) Talk less and work more.
7) Think big and work big.
