with the aweful economy, getting laid off is extremely devistating. I have 4 month old twins and my husband was just laid off. i am terrified, but keep it to myself because i can only imagine how he must feel right now. I am pleased that he is able to be home with the babies though. I am looking for a decent paying job from home. so he can be with the girls and still feel like he is "bringing home some bacon". any help?

This is my fear too. I worry about bills, the installments if either my husband or I got laid off. I try not to spend unnecessarily these few months. I'm sorry about your husband getting laid off. But fret not, there's plenty of other ways to earn. As long as you are patient and determined. I am sure you and your husband can work things out. Good Luck :)

Oh it must be awful to be in this position, and i guess it is going to be a commom thing with the way the world is today, I guess you just have to hope that maybe he can find a job even if it is in a different area, I hope things work out for you..

I am so sorry that your hubby has lost his job, it is a real bad time for people at the minute. The factory where my hubby works is also facing redundancies, there were 70 made earlier this year and then a couple of weeks ago it was announced that another 500 jobs were to go. The unions became involved to try and reach compromises, and the workers were offered a working hour cut which would mean less redundancies or to lose the 500 jobs. The vote was taken and it was opted to take the hour cut, which means everyone losing 5 hours a week, and the redundancies needed to be made is now around half, we will probably find out tomorrow if my hubby is on the redundancy list or not. If he escapes this time, it may not be for long as it would appear that more redundancies may have to be made as sales have dropped even further. I hope that something comes good for you and your family.

I am sorry that your hubby got laid off and I am going back to school for medical coding which can be done at home. I hope that your hubby finds a new and better job soon.
