I have actually started making money from the cloth diapers that I have been making!! I have sold them on ebay, diaperswappers, myuseddiapers and I have gotten great feedback from them. I am so happy. I really need to start sewing some more. The cutting out takes so long, but once I get them all cut out and ready , I can sew them up pretty quick.

Thats Awesome!
I also make and sell cloth diapers (and knit longies/shorties too)!
I find for diaper sewing, its best to do an assembly line style of production.
I just cut out a bunch, then move on to pinning, elastic, sewing/serging and then snaps. (a few of those steps may be different depending on how you make yours of course)
I have been wondering about the possibility of a cutting machine/press that you could lay your fabric layers in and just punch out your diaper pattern, lol. That would be so much easier, but I bet it'd be expensive!

I would love to have some kind of cutting machine too. I hate that part of the making of diapers. All of the cutting out of the patterns. I even have tried to pawn that part off on someone else, but my daughter cut out 2 and then stopped.

I would love to start making cloth diapers. Where did you get your pattern? Could you share some tips with me? I would not be selling them on ebay so I would not hurt your sales any. I would like to sell them locally. I think we are all going to have to get back to basics. I used cloth diapers with my daughters.

Hi sweetpeasmom. I don't think I've seen diapers made by you, but I have seen some on etsy. I think it's great that you've got a market for them. Time to get back to some basics! Keep up the good work.
